Luella's shop storm

With London Fashion Week only a few days behind us and the excitement of Luella showing in London, her new shop was stormed by a gang. The Mayfair outlet only opened its doors a week ago and has been the target of thieves on mopeds trashing the place and stealing up to
thousands of pounds of products.

Around 1am in the morning the gang broke the glass doors grabbing bags and clothes, leaving the place in a total state. About ten minutes earlier, the group broke into cashmere shop Brora taking two racks of clothing. The incident follows a number of high-end fashion robberies in London; according to the police the same gang is involved. Previously the thieves robbed the Ralph Lauren store in Bond Street.

Chief Inspector Martin Johnson, of Westminster police commented “They are stealing high value goods that can move fairly easily on the market.” This season Luella returned to the London catwalk after showing in New York. With the opening of her first standalone shop, it was great to be back at home at the source of her inspiration for her designs.
